I don’t even know how long it’s been since I last posted to this blog. I’ll admit, I neglected it a bit ‘cause life been life-ing.
From the beginning of last year to the winter of 2025, it’s been over twelve months in the alchemical nigredo stage: shocking health diagnoses of loved ones, the sudden death of a close relative, my personal health concerns, and then this political hellscape. I feel like we’re reaching the end of something. Armageddon, Kali Yuga’s end, 5D Ascension—whatever one may understand it as—it’s evident we’re reaching the end of an age and ascending to something higher than this based, low-vibrational, and archontic period that we’ve been in for hundreds and thousands of years.
As a writer and artist, the AI agendas are making it seem like it is the end of the creative world. At a networking event, I met a lady who expressed concerns about AI affecting her business. That’s when I told her that in the Age of AI, human imperfection in art, music, and literature will be essential. The AI tech bros and broligarchs want AI to possess human consciousness. How they will achieve it—I don’t know. But the only way we can differentiate ourselves from this synthetic entity is by embracing our human imperfections.
Artists, musicians, and writers need to be fearless, honest, and empathetic in our work. AI may be able to replicate a van Gogh-style painting and mimic his emotions, but it cannot capture the pain, life experiences, and empathy that inspired van Gogh’s creative process and finished results.
While AI can be used as a tool, I don’t use it as much to avoid suppressing my authentic voice. On that note, I have been working on many writing projects. Here are the updates.
- There are some great things potentially happening for my debut novel, Ungrateful (i.e., adaptations).
- A sequel to my debut novel is in the works!
- Spin-off short stories from my debut novel (featuring all of the characters) are in the works!
- I just completed the first couple of drafts of a second novel that I will be publishing! It will be a short novel (novella).
AI will never stop me from writing as long as there are people out there craving stories inspired by the experiences of real human beings. 🖤🖤🖤
